Job summary

KuwaitNET is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our software operations team in Kuwait. You will collaborate with developers to deploy, monitor, and streamline our release processes across dev, test and production environments.

Responsibilities include maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, automating configuration with Ansible, and ensuring reliability with Linux/Unix administration. Strong scripting and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
• Proficient in shell scripting and automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and version control workflows (Git, GitFlow).
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and configuration management.
• Proficiency in Jenkins pipelines and Bitbucket/GIT administration.
• AWS and DevOps certifications are a plus; RHCE is a must.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to resolve production issues and maintain environments.
• Support UAT, development and production environments.
• Automate and streamline deployment and release processes.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and build/release automation.
• Create and maintain documentation for build and release procedures.

JOB PURPOSE Job Description

In this role you ll work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate various systems Help automate and streamline our operations and processes Build and maintain tools for deployment monitoring and operations And troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev test and production environments

Responsibilities

• Communicate efficiently with Developers to resolve Issues on Production
• UAT and Dev environments
• Help maintain code quality organization and automatization
• Maintaining and streamlining our automated build and release pipeline from code
• Facilitating and championing the quick resolution of problems found during the daily build and deployment efforts
• Creating and maintaining documentation of the build release process
• Investigating tools and processes and integrating them so that they can improve the reliability stability and efficiency with which we release our services

Requirements

• Strong background in Linux Unix Administration
• Knowledge of Shell Scripting

• Expert skills with Bitbucket GIT administration designing GIT based workflow
