Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Kuwait City is seeking a meticulous Kitchen Coordinator to provide essential administrative support to the Executive Chef and Culinary team. You will manage kitchen documentation, rosters and HR-related records while coordinating meetings and reports.

The role requires strong organizational ability, English communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in hotel kitchen operations preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
• Experience in a Kitchen Coordinator or similar administrative role is preferred.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative support to the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef and Culinary team.
• Prepare and maintain kitchen correspondence, reports, records and other departmental documentation.
• Maintain an organized filing system for Culinary records and ensure documents are retrievable.
• Coordinate meetings, briefings and appointments and assist in preparing meeting notes.
• Prepare and update kitchen duty rosters, attendance records and manpower information.
• Assist with HR-related requirements and maintain department contact lists.
• Assist in preparing monthly reports and departmental submissions.
• Follow up on deadlines and action items for the Culinary department.
• Support purchasing, inventory, and cost coordination activities.
• Maintain kitchen documentation related to HACCP, food safety and hygiene.
