Job summary

Four Seasons Kuwait City is seeking a talented culinary professional to join our luxury hotel kitchen. You will prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, assist in maintaining standardized recipes, and ensure impeccable presentation and sanitation. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

A strong team player with the ability to work under pressure is essential. You will contribute to a demanding, guest-centric environment, collaborating with senior kitchen staff to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in a five-star luxury hotel setting is preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions.
• Assist the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie to establish standard recipes and ensure compliance.
• Inspect taste, temperature and visual appeal; ensure uniform portions.
• Ensure food quality, taste, presentation and requisition.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cuisines to perform duties efficiently.
• Maintain proper sanitation; keep kitchen clean and tidy.
• Prepare room amenities when needed.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and cook food according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions.
• Help the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie to establish standard recipes and ensure the compliance with them.
• Constantly inspect taste, temperature and visual appeal, make sure that all dishes are uniform and that established portion sizes are adhered to.
• Ensure food quality, food taste, food presentation and food requisition.
• Have a good knowledge of cuisines to carry out the duties and responsibilities for the position in an efficient and productive manner.
• Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed and the kitchen is always clean, neat and tidy.
• Prepare exciting and appealing room amenity when needed.

What You Will Bring

• At least 2 years’ experience in the similar role in a five-star luxury hotel.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Works well in a team environment ability to work effectively under pressure
• Be thorough and pay attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Arabic is a plus.
• Active listening skills.
