Job summary

Four Seasons Kuwait is seeking a culinary professional for our Kuwait City kitchen. You will prepare and cook dishes to standard, assist the Chef de Partie, and ensure consistent taste, presentation and portions in a luxury hotel setting.

We require at least 2 years in a similar five-star role, ability to work under pressure, strong teamwork, attention to detail, and good English; Arabic is a plus. We offer full board housing, complimentary stays, social events, and transport perks.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hotel kitchens or fine-dining setups is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.
• Good English; Arabic skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and instructions.
• Help the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie establish standard recipes and ensure compliance with them.
• Inspect taste, temperature, and visual appeal; ensure uniform dishes and adherence to portions.
• Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and requisition processes are followed.
• Maintain knowledge of cuisines to perform duties efficiently.
• Ensure proper sanitation; keep kitchen clean and tidy at all times.
• Prepare exciting and appealing room amenities when needed.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and cook food according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions.
• Help the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie to establish standard recipes and ensure the compliance with them.
• Constantly inspect taste, temperature and visual appeal, make sure that all dishes are uniform and that established portion sizes are adhered to.
• Ensure food quality, food taste, food presentation and food requisition.
• Have a good knowledge of cuisines to carry out the duties and responsibilities for the position in an efficient and productive manner.
• Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed and the kitchen is always clean, neat and tidy.
• Prepare exciting and appealing room amenity when needed.

What You Will Bring

• At least 2 years' experience in the similar role in a five-star luxury hotel.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Works well in a team environment ability to work effectively under pressure
• Be thorough and pay attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Arabic is a plus.
• Active listening skills.
