Job summary

Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy, is hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Control Room Engineer in Kuwait. The role involves monitoring and controlling a 50 MW Gas Turbine Unit from the control room to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted power generation.

You will coordinate start-up, shutdown and emergency operations, maintain logs, and work with maintenance teams while complying with plant safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Gas Turbine Power Plant operations with hands-on experience operating a 50 MW Gas Turbine Unit from the control room.
• Experience in large-scale thermal or combined cycle power plants is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control 50 MW Gas Turbine Unit operations from the control room.
• Ensure safe, efficient and uninterrupted power generation.
• Coordinate start-up, shutdown and emergency operations.
• Identify operational abnormalities and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain operational logs and prepare shift reports.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams during planned and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety and operational procedures.

Work Experience Requirements
