Job summary

Jumeirah Messilah Beach in Kuwait invites applications for a Commis 1 to join the Banquet Kitchen. You will assist the culinary team, help prepare and present dishes, and maintain kitchen standards in a luxury setting.

The role requires a minimum of five years in a five-star hotel culinary environment, HACCP knowledge, and teamwork in a multicultural facility. We offer a tax-free salary in Kuwaiti dinars and generous F&B benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-year experience in Culinary in a five-star hotel.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to standards.
• Knowledge of HACCP and general health & safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist culinary teams to support production and maintain standards.
• Report accidents and sickness immediately to the Chef de Cuisine with details.
• Follow recipes, plating guides, and quality ingredient handling.
• Coordinate with Stewarding Manager to maintain cleanliness and equipment.
