Dheya in Kuwait City seeks a Chef de Partie (CDP) specialized in BBQ to lead the grill section in a premium dining environment. You will master live-fire cooking, smoking techniques and meat prep to consistently deliver exceptional flavor and presentation.

The role requires 3–5 years of BBQ experience, strong leadership and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen. Fine dining background is preferred and adherence to food safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of BBQ/grill-focused experience.
• Strong live-fire and smoking technique knowledge.
• Experience in fine dining environments preferred.
• Ability to lead and train junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage BBQ and grill section during service.
• Prepare and cook meats, seafood and vegetables using BBQ techniques.
• Control fire, heat levels and cooking times for precise doneness.
• Execute smoking techniques for different flavor profiles.
• Handle low-and-slow and high-heat grilling methods.
• Prepare marinades, rubs and sauces to enhance flavor.
• Train and supervise Commis chefs and junior staff.
• Ensure strict food safety and hygiene standards.
