Job summary
Amcor in Virginia is seeking a Quality Auditor who serves as the lead quality authority for the plant, working with the Quality Coordinator to develop, implement, and continually improve the facility's quality management system to meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
The role includes supervising inspectors, supporting quality software, coordinating audits, maintaining documentation, liaising with customers, and ensuring compliance with OHSE and ISO standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years in quality systems.
- Experience supervising a work group and managing quality systems.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and chromatography techniques.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Quality Inspectors/Auditors.
- Lead quality coordination with plant personnel.
- Maintain ISO 9000 management system and documentation.
- Liaise with customer on quality issues.
- Manage internal and supplier audits and corrective actions.
- Ensure OHSE and safety compliance.
