Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
- Active state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker.
- Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling and support services for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and strategies to promote student success.
- Participate in IEP and 504 planning and meetings as needed.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and administrators to support student growth and well-being.
- Serve as a liaison between schools, families, and community resources.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and licensing requirements.
