Purpose of the Job: Responsible for site IACS (Industrial Automation and Control System) maintenance and engineering activities, including new system design, existing system development, cost reduction, technology/research, and lifecycle product support. Manage plant process control and safety systems maintenance to ensure safety, legal compliance, and proper process control.
Main Accountabilities:
- Develop, program, and manage existing industrial control and safety systems to enhance reliability and security of chemical processes.
- Assist manufacturing operations with problem solving related to automated systems.
- Manage the lifecycle of safety systems to minimize process safety risks.
- Oversee IACS cybersecurity to meet company standards and ensure safe IT/OT integration.
- Conduct preventive maintenance for IACS, ensuring system reliability, spare parts availability, and safety stock. Coordinate procurement and external contractors.
- Update documentation, manuals, and procedures, ensuring traceability and current records.
- Collaborate on budgeting, technical solutions, and project management for IACS-related projects.
- Optimize plant production through continuous improvement.
- Support electrical works, staff training, legal compliance, and site standards for control systems.
- Train operators on DCS use and process control practices.
- Issue PTWs for permits, ensuring occupational and process safety.
- Ensure compliance with SHE regulations and internal standards.

Requirements & Knowledge and skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years in a similar role.
- Fluent Italian (C1) and English (B1).
- Proficient in MS Office, knowledge of IACS, SAP is a plus.
- Problem-solving, proactive, performance-focused, organized, adaptable.
