Project Manager à Italie

For our headquarters in Cascina, CMC Marine is looking to appoint a highly motivated JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER.

Academic and professional qualification:

• minimum working experience of at least 2-3 years as Junior Project Manager (will be preferred)
• technical background, diploma and/or bachelor’s degree in technical field
• experience in yachting industry *
• good level of English, with good written and verbal communication skills
• strong attention to details and client oriented
• knowledge and skill in the using of planning and project management tools e.g., Microsoft Project or equivalent planning SW
• project Management certifications (like ISIPM, PMI etc.) or attendance at specific training courses will be considered a plus
• willing to work abroad, even temporarily for meetings, follow-up activities, services to clients, business exhibitions
• preferable residence close to areas of Cascina (e.g., Livorno, Pisa, Lucca, Empoli, Florence etc. but not mandatory)

*Previous working experiences in offshore, shipbuilding business will be considered.

Main responsibilities:

• he/she will act as the principle point of contact for the Clients and will manage relations with customers together the technical team
• he/she leads projects from technical – contractual requirements definition, to the final stages of systems’ commissioning activities,
• he/she will execute project management processes including scope definition, scheduling, resource and material planning, risk management, cost and budget management, reporting
• he/she will establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes, by anticipating customer needs & providing proactive solutions
• he/she will develop, monitor, update, communicate and implement plans for the achievement of project deliverables and/or modifications in respect to the contractual obligations
• he/she will interact with all company organization units (Management, Engineering, R&D, Sales, Purchase, Logistic, Production, Quality, Service etc.) and will be responsible for internal coordination to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
