• Overseeing the processes of harvesting, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and data aggregation within the data warehouse system.
• Conducting data mining and analysis to identify and address functional anomalies in the system.
• Providing support for converting satellite data to the EO-SIP format by developing new converters.
• Updating existing converters to ensure compatibility and functionality with current requirements.

• Secondary school diploma (or higher)
• Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience
• Design and development of interfaces between multi-systems
• Experience in programming in various languages (PL/PostgreSQL, Java and/or Python)
• Experience in writing complex queries in SQL
• Data processing and transformation
• Good written and oral command of English (B1 or higher)

• Linux O.S. and native shell scripting
• Business Intelligence procedures, data presentation tools and technics (e.g. Tableau or similar BI tools)
• ETL procedures
• Nagios or similar monitoring tools
• Troubleshoot and upgrade of existing software
• XML/XSD
• EO data products

• Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution
• Responsible and success-oriented
• Very good customer liaison capability and team-player spirit
• Sharp and curious mind
• Availability to travel within Europe to attend meetings
• Ability to work in an international environment

• Work location: Rome
• Work mode: Hybrid, 2 days on-site per week and the rest from home
