Job summary

VirtualResource B.V. seeks an experienced Workday Absence & Time Tracking Consultant to design, configure, and optimise client Workday solutions.

You will work with stakeholders to understand requirements, deliver best-practice configurations, and support implementations to maximise value. You will lead workshops, provide expert guidance through all project phases, and train end users while ensuring seamless integration with other HR systems and ongoing production support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' hands-on Workday consulting experience focused on Absence Management and Time Tracking.
• Experience configuring and implementing Workday Absence and Time Tracking functionality.
• Strong understanding of HR business processes, particularly absence management, leave administration, scheduling, and time tracking.
• Experience leading client workshops, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into system configurations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills.
• Workday Absence and/or Time Tracking Certification.
• Knowledge of global absence, leave, and time management processes.
• Experience working within consulting or client-facing environments.
• Fluent in English; German and/or Italian languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Configure and implement Workday Absence and Time Tracking solutions aligned to client requirements.
• Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements and design effective Workday solutions.
• Provide guidance through design, prototyping, testing, deployment and post-production support.
• Advise clients on Workday functionality, enhancements, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with other HR systems.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support.
• Develop and deliver user training sessions and documentation.
• Manage multiple client engagements with clear stakeholder communication.
• Support project planning, status reporting and issue resolution activities.
