Job summary

Keysight in Lombardia, Italy, is seeking a Wireless Protocol Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize the L3 protocol stack (RRC) for advanced 5G and pre-6G systems. You will work close to standards and real implementations, translating evolving specifications into scalable software components.

The role requires deep 3GPP LTE/NR expertise, strong C/C++, multi-threading and real-time programming, and effective technical communication in English.

• Collaborate with cross-functional experts (systems, RF, protocol, product, customers/partners) to reproduce field issues, debug complex behaviors, and validate fixes with strong root-cause discipline
