SKF Group in Airasca, Italy is seeking an engineer to design and industrialize hub bearing units for major automotive and mobility customers. The role sits in PV Wheel End Engineering and involves product development from RFQ to production, with global scope and cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing, engineering and project teams.
The ideal candidate holds a university engineering degree, strong CAE knowledge, and experience with DFMEA/PFMEA; Italian and English fluency are
Competenze
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Aerospace, Automotive, Materials).
- High engineering knowledge (materials, CAE, design, testing).
- Experience with 3D modeling systems; PTC Creo is beneficial.
- Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA tools.
- Experience in automotive area is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Italian; fluent English; German language skills welcomed.
- Willingness to travel.
Mansioni
- Design and industrialize hub bearing units for major AM players.
- Develop products across full lifecycle from RFQ to production.
- Drive innovation for SKF wheel end solutions.
- Identify best technical solutions to complete technical package.
- Optimize product characteristics with manufacturing and project teams.
- Interact with customers' engineering teams in ETO and advanced projects.
- Promote continuous improvement of tools, design processes, standards.
