Sulzer is seeking an Applications & Tendering Engineer in Italy to develop technical and commercial solutions for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, supporting bids and tenders. The role blends process understanding, application engineering, and tendering activities, interfacing with Sales, Engineering, and external stakeholders from early tender stage through project handover.

Competenze

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with water/wastewater exposure.
• 4–7 years of experience in application engineering, tendering, or technical sales in water/wastewater.
• Proven experience with municipal and/or industrial wastewater treatment processes.
• Strong understanding of treatment technologies, plant layouts, and process interfaces.
• Experience in tenders for EPC or public sector projects is a strong advantage.

Mansioni

• Analyze RFQs and tender documents for WWTP projects.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect bid inputs.
• Prepare BOQs and cost estimations for water and wastewater solutions.
• Support pre-sales technical and process engagement with customers.
