Prada Group is seeking a Stock Controller to join our boutique team in Italy. You will check incoming and outgoing goods, manage inventory, and support the stockroom and sales staff in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.

The role requires at least 2 years in stock or retail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with POS systems, Excel, and Word. A proactive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to excellent customer service are essential.

Formación

• At least 2 years of experience in a stock position, preferably in a retail environment.
• Very organized, rigorous and reliable.
• Computer skills to include operation of retail point of sale system, Word, Excel and email.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to drive results.
• Positive, outgoing, high-energy personality suited to a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task.

Responsabilidades

• Set the example of operation excellence by following policies & procedures, while elevating standards through proper tools & equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized stockroom and selling floor inventories.
• Support the sales team with tasks such as running sizes, assisting at the cash register, advising on stock availability.
• Demonstrate professionalism in communication and teamwork with coworkers, clients and management.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes/styles are represented accurately.
• Communicate stock level and quality issues to Management to avoid shrink.
• Handle shipping/receiving tasks efficiently and timely; verify quantity and quality of packages.
• Prepare documentation for uniforms when authorized by Management.
• Comply with fire, health, and safety regulations.
• Monitor store supplies and communicate order needs to management.
• Assist in inventories and analysis of results.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Stock Controller will join our team reporting to the Store Manager . You will check incoming and outgoing goods, manage the inventory and needs of the boutique stockroom.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set the example of operation excellence by following policies & procedures, while elevating the standards through usage of the proper tools & equipment
• Responsible for a clean and organized maintenance of all inventories in the stockroom and on the selling floor
• Support the sales team with several tasks such as running sizes, assisting at the cash register, advising on size and stock availability and other support related tasks
• Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication and teamwork when interacting with coworkers, clients and management
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure that all sizes and styles are represented accurately
• Communicate product stock level and product quality issues to the Management team when necessary to avoid shrink
• Perform all shipping/receiving tasks in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner: check the goods by verifying the quantity and quality of the packages
• Prepare accompanying documentation for uniforms etc. upon authorization from the Management team
• Comply with all company fire, health, and safety regulations
• Monitor all store supply levels such as packaging, beverages, office supplies, etc. and communicate order needs in a timely manner to management
• Prepare, organize and participate in inventories and analysis of results
• Set the example of operation excellence by following policies and procedures, while elevating the standards through usage of the proper tools and equipment

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Previous experience of at least 2 years in a stock position, preferably in the retail environment
• Very organized, rigorous and reliable
• Computer skills to include operation of retail point of sale system, Word, Excel and email
• An entrepreneur with the ability to drive results
• A positive, outgoing, high-energy personality able to thrive within a high paced environment and ability to multi-task with ease while maintaining a balance of daily responsibilities
• Great communication skills, ability to work with sales teams and liaise with corporate
• Service-oriented, proactive to propose improvements and support other team members
