Hitachi Rail S.p.A. in Naples, Italy, seeks a Vehicle Integration Engineer to join our fast-paced team. You will work across architecture definition, test planning and vehicle integration, contributing from concept through final validation.

The role requires hands-on engineering with RAMS, regulatory knowledge, and coordination with cross-functional teams; travel for national/international assignments is possible.

Competenze

• Experience in the railway industry; Train Systems Engineer preferred.
• RAMS concepts knowledge is advantageous.
• Knowledge of regulations relating to on-board systems in the railway business.
• Knowledge of main office automation software/tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Knowledge of electrotechnical, electronic, system engineering processes and the main regulations in the railway field to manage lifecycle of product subsystems.
• Autocad/Creo/Catia knowledge (design software) preferred.
• IBM DOORS experience.

Mansioni

• Definition of High, Medium and Low voltage Electrical architecture documents.
• Definition TCMS vehicle architecture.
• Definition of traction characteristics and development of driving simulations.
• Development of Functional Specifications for the integration of the vehicle.
• Preparation of the vehicle test specifications.
• Support for performance and functional tests of the vehicle.
