Job summary

Gunnebo Entrance Control GmbH seeks a Buyer & Value Stream Planner to manage material planning, purchasing and production scheduling within the Purchasing department. The role links customer requirements, production capacity and inventory to keep operations on track.

You will collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Logistics and external suppliers. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience, strong ERP/Excel skills, and fluency in Italian and English.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Technical background with ability to read drawings and technical documents.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with ERP purchasing modules, BOMs and MRP.
• Experience in basic negotiation and dealing with external partners.
• Digital expertise and lean manufacturing concepts are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor component availability for the portfolio and identify shortages and delivery risks.
• Create and manage purchase orders aligned with production plan and MRP requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and expedite orders when needed.
• Monitor inventory and material movements with accurate stock transactions.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Logistics and other functions to ensure a smooth flow of materials.
• Support supplier scouting and development for supply continuity.
