Agilent Technologies Italia SpA seeks a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineer for our Vacuum Technologies R&D team. You will design and validate scroll and rotary vane pumps, performing structural analyses and validating results with experiments to ensure product reliability and performance.

You will use ANSYS tools for stiffness, strength, thermal and fluid analyses, and collaborate across international teams to drive improvements and maintain quality standards.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
• Typically 4+ years of relevant experience in mechanical product development, analysis, or validation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, structural analysis, and finite element analysis (FEA).
• Proficiency with CAD software and engineering simulation tools; experience with ANSYS Mechanical, ANSYS Fluent, and ANSYS CFX is strongly preferred.

Mansioni

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for scroll and rotary vane vacuum pumps.
• Perform structural analyses using FEA tools to evaluate strength, stiffness, fatigue life, and reliability.
• Support fluid dynamic and thermal analyses to evaluate flow behavior and heat transfer.
• Plan, execute, and analyze experimental validation activities to correlate simulation with testing.
• Develop tests to verify structural, fluid dynamic, and thermal performance.
• Support noise and vibration investigations through data acquisition and analysis.
• Develop test plans, analyze results, and generate technical reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive product improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of simulation methodologies and testing processes.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions related to field and manufacturing issues.
