COSMED - The Metabolic Company in Rome is offering a 6-month paid internship in Verification & Validation (V&V) within the Engineering team. You will join a multidisciplinary environment to learn, perform in-vitro testing, and contribute to regulatory documentation.

The role targets curious and analytical individuals who are eager to work with medical devices and software, and who are ready to experiment, learn and grow in a technically demanding setting.

Competenze

• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with EU MDR 2017/745.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Curiosity with analytical and problem-solving attitude.
• Willingness to experiment, learn and challenge yourself.
• Interest in practical testing and regulatory documentation.
• Proactive attitude to investigate issues and find roots.

Mansioni

• Gain hands-on experience in verification and validation of medical devices and software.
• Define and execute test protocols and document results.
• Perform in-vitro tests and experimental activities.
• Analyze results and support root cause analysis.
• Assist with product and software verification and validation activities.
• Prepare compliance reports against applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management and other teams.
• Work with testing equipment and methodologies in a technical environment.
