Job summary

Capgemini Italy is seeking a PLM Solution Architect to shape and evolve PLM solutions for leading industrial clients. You will design PLM transformations and support integration with ERP, MES, and CAD systems in a global, multidisciplinary team.

You will work across PLM platforms such as 3DEXPERIENCE, Windchill and Teamcenter, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing stakeholders to drive digital continuity and data governance.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communications skills are required.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience with PLM implementations, deployments or transformations.
• Strong understanding of PLM processes and engineering data management.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and evolution of PLM solutions for engineering and manufacturing transformation programs.
• Support workshops to translate customer requirements into solution designs.
• Participate in architecture activities across product development, engineering, manufacturing and change management.

Your role

As a PLM Solution Architect, you will:

• Contribute to the design and evolution of PLM solutions supporting engineering and manufacturing transformation programs
• Support business and technical workshops to understand customer requirements and translate them into solution designs
• Participate in solution architecture activities across product development, engineering,manufacturingand change management domains
• Contribute to integration design between PLM platforms and enterprise systems such as ERP,MESand CAD applications
• Support data governance, product structure, configurationmanagementand engineering change processes
• Participate in deployment,testingand continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to architecture documentation, best practices and knowledge sharing across project teams

Your profile

This position requires prior hands‑on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions and at least one of the following platforms: 3DEXPERIENCE, Windchill or Teamcenter.

Profiles without PLM experience are unlikely to be a good fit for the role.

Mandatoryqualifications

• 3+ years of experienceworking on PLM implementation,deploymentor transformation projects
• Hands‑on experience with3DEXPERIENCE, Windchill or Teamcenter
• Experience supporting solution design, configuration,integrationor architecture activities within PLM environments
• Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management processes and engineering data management
• Experience working with industrial, manufacturing, automotive,aerospaceor engineering organizationsKnowledge of PLM,CADand enterprise application ecosystems
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
• Fluent English communicationskills
