Job summary

blendX is seeking a curious UX/UI design intern to help shape the blendX platform with modern interfaces and clear user flows.

You will participate in research, design layouts in Figma, and explore AI-assisted prototyping, while learning accessibility basics in a fast-growing startup environment.

A 6-month internship with a €1,000 monthly expense allowance is offered at Phluid, our office in Rome. This role provides a hands-on path to grow in digital product design within a diverse team.

Qualifications

• A degree in UX/UI design, Graphic Design, Web Design or related fields.
• A strong sense of visual aesthetics.
• Curiosity about digital product design.
• Basic Figma skills.
• An experimental attitude and curiosity about AI prototyping.
• A small portfolio to understand your visual approach.
• Strong proactivity and eagerness to take on challenges.
• A team player attitude.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
• Italian at least C1.

Responsibilities

• Run research and benchmarking, analysing other digital platforms to gather best practices.
• Take part in user experience brainstorming sessions, bringing ideas and insights.
• Design layouts, screens and visual components of the platform.
• Use Figma and try out AI tools to generate visual ideas, explore interface concepts and build prototypes quickly.
• Apply the basics of accessibility.
• Help manage and update our component library in Figma, keeping the graphic elements tidy and usable.

blendX is an innovative startup founded in 2020 with a strong ambition: to become a leader in the Innovation Management Platform market. blendX has brought to market a proprietary B2B solution to manage every innovation process in a single platform, with a suite of over 20 application modules.

The team is young and dynamic, with experience in B2B digital products and Open Innovation consulting. We are growing fast, strengthening the product and winning large corporate clients, public administrations, accelerators and incubators.

We are looking for a curious person with an eye for aesthetics and a great passion for digital products. This role is designed for someone who wants to build technical and operational skills in an innovative, constantly evolving environment.

You will join the product team as an intern and take an active part in developing the blendX platform, helping design modern interfaces, clear user flows and simple, intuitive, accessible solutions.

What you will do
