SmartRecruiters, Inc. is hiring a Supply Chain Engineer - Supplier on a 9-month fixed-term contract based at the Porcari, Lucca site.

The role oversees upstream supply chain activities, ensuring efficient materials and information flow from suppliers to points of use, with focus on on-time delivery and cost optimization. Competenze

• Educated to degree level or with appropriate workplace experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Engineering, Supply Chain Analytics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Fluent Italian (advanced) and professional English (C1).

Mansioni

• Oversee raw material and purchase part SKU parameterization in line with business requirements.
• Manage supplier master data within ERP and escalate supplier communications when agreements change.
• Utilize inventory tools to size inventory appropriately for raw materials and purchased goods in transit.
• Measure and report supplier base performance on-time delivery, lead time and order quantity.
• Build relationships with suppliers and drive supply chain improvements with root-cause countermeasures.
• Lead upstream supply chain performance projects with suppliers to minimize disruption and costs.
• Manage product portfolio, lifecycle and NPI processes with suppliers to reduce inventory and cost impact.
