Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets (MRS-GM) invites applications for an Underwriting Assistant based in Milan, Italy. The role supports underwriting teams across MRRSI and European branches, handling data entry, policy admin and documentation control, reporting to the Head of Operations Europe.

The position emphasizes accurate data handling, policy documentation, invoicing and compliance while delivering high-quality service to customers and policyholders in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Experience in insurance, reinsurance or financial services, supporting underwriting or policy administration.
• Understanding of insurance principles and regulatory requirements.
• Strong data accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365; exposure to underwriting systems is a plus.

Mansioni

• Support end-to-end underwriting administration and data entry.
• Manage policy documents, filings, and issuance of policies and invoices.
• Assist renewal and accumulation controls and exception reporting.
• Help underwriters with data quality and compliance with procedures.
• Contribute to Contract Certainty and regulatory processes.
• Support finance tasks including invoicing and debt monitoring.
• Participate in projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Provide general admin and meeting coordination.
