RE:LAB Srl a Reggio Emilia cerca un UI Design Intern per approfondire la progettazione di interfacce 2D e sistemi di design per applicazioni mobili. L'opportunità permette di lavorare accanto a designer senior, creare componenti grafici in Figma e contribuire a librerie UI coerenti.

Il percorso formativo si concentra sull’uso di Figma per gestire design systems, componenti, varianti e variabili, offrendo esperienza pratica su progetti HMI e mobility.

Competenze

• Laurea magistrale o equivalente in Graphic/Visual Design o disciplina affine.
• Conoscenza di Figma e di strumenti di progettazione 2D.
• Conoscenza della suite Adobe ( Photoshop, Illustrator ).
• Passione per design di interfacce digitali e grafica applicata a sistemi complessi.
• Curiosità per approcci strutturati alla creazione di design system.
• Precisione, attenzione ai dettagli e propensione all’apprendimento di metodologie professionali.

Mansioni

• Contribuire alla creazione di elementi grafici 2D per interfacce utente.
• Partecipare alla costruzione e all’organizzazione di librerie UI in Figma.

Our HMI division is looking for an intern to join an extracurricular program focused on designing two-dimensional interfaces for digital systems and mobility applications. During the internship, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to build hands‑on skills in creating and organizing graphical interfaces, following methodologies used in professional design settings. Working alongside a team of senior designers, they will take part in producing visual components and graphic assets for interactive products. The training path will focus in particular on using Figma to manage structured design systems—components, variables, and variants—applied to projects within the HMI and mobility space.

Main Activities

• Contribute to the creation of 2D graphic elements for user interfaces.
• Take part in building and organizing UI component libraries within Figma.
• Learn how to structure scalable design systems based on components, variants, and variables.
• Provide support in defining layouts and visual assets for interface projects.
• Help the team maintain consistent visual standards across different projects.
• Take part in review sessions and collaborative work with UX designers and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Advanced Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Figma and other 2D design tools.
• Familiarity with the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent tools).
• Passion for digital interface design and applied graphics.
• Curiosity about structured approaches to building design systems.
• Precision, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn professional methodologies.
• Interest in design applied to technology-driven systems and mobility.
• Strong fit for teamwork in multidisciplinary environments.
• Good working knowledge of English.

Nice to have

• Personal or academic experience related to UI design or digital graphics.
• Curiosity about HMI systems and mobility‑related interfaces.
• Knowledge of motion design activities and related tools (such as After Effects, Principle, or similar).

Internship Details

• Duration: 6 months
• Schedule: Full‑time
• Start date: To be agreed based on candidate availability
• Work location: On‑site, Reggio Emilia HQ
• Internship allowance: the internship includes a monthly reimbursement, in accordance with the applicable regional regulations.
