Job summary

FlyingBasket is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Bolzano, Italy, to support flight testing and commercial operations on-site. You will maintain the drone according to manuals, track repairs, and support quality audits while ensuring regulatory compliance for maintenance per EASA.

Requires UAS maintenance experience, knowledge of PX4, SolidWorks, CAN BUS analysis, and documentation planning. Travel may be required; English at B2 level is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in UAS maintenance.
• Knowledge in UAS technology.
• Software: SolidWorks, CAN BUS analyser.
• Experience with documentation and planning.
• Experience with inventory.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
• Work permit for Italy (EU).
• Willingness to travel if needed.
• Knowledge of PX4 and piloting skills is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the UAS according to manuals.
• Keep track of repairs and tools.
• Support Quality audits and activities.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Report issues into the QMS system.
• Train customers and peers.
