Deutsche Telekom is seeking a TV Designer to join the Design & Customer Experience team in Milan, shaping premium TV interfaces across Live TV, VoD, streaming, and smart TV services. You will translate content and storytelling into living room experiences.

You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to refine interaction patterns, contribute to a scalable design system, and champion accessibility and pixel-perfect execution, while exploring AI-powered personalization

What You'll Do

As a TV Designer, you create premium entertainment experiences that millions of customers enjoy every day. You shape intuitive, visually compelling TV interfaces and services that bring together content, technology, and storytelling across connected TV platforms.

Design end-to-end TV experiences across Live TV, Video on Demand, Streaming, and Smart TV services.

Create intuitive navigation, interaction models, and content discovery experiences optimized for the living room environment.

Design high-quality user interfaces that balance visual excellence, usability, accessibility, and performance across TV devices.

Develop concepts, wireframes, prototypes, motion studies, and high-fidelity designs to validate ideas throughout the product lifecycle.

Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Researchers, Engineers, Motion Designers, and Content teams to deliver customer‑centric TV experiences.

Define and evolve TV‑specific interaction patterns, design principles, and scalable components within Telekom's design system.

Translate customer insights, business objectives, and technical constraints into engaging and elegant product experiences.

Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies such as AI-powered personalization, voice interaction, and immersive entertainment experiences.

Champion design quality throughout implementation, ensuring pixel‑perfect execution across multiple TV platforms and screen resolutions.

Contribute to the evolution of design practices and collaborate in fostering a strong design culture within the organization.

Your Skills

As a TV Designer at Telekom, you combine outstanding visual design expertise with experience designing for television platforms and connected entertainment ecosystems.

Strong knowledge of UX and UI design for TV, Connected TV, OTT, or media platforms.

Excellent visual design craft with attention to typography, layout, motion, hierarchy, and interaction design.

Understanding of designing for lean-back experiences, remote control navigation, and 10-foot user interfaces.

Strong prototyping skills using Figma, ProtoPie, Principle, or similar tools.

Experience working with design systems and creating consistent experiences across multiple products and devices.

Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design for television interfaces.

Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain design decisions.

Experience collaborating within agile, cross‑functional product teams.

Curiosity for emerging technologies including AI, personalization, voice interfaces, and next‑generation entertainment experiences.

Your Profile

Degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Media Design, or a related field.

7 years proven experience designing TV, OTT, Connected TV, streaming, or digital entertainment products.

A portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end design thinking across TV products, from concept to shipped experiences.

Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product development process. xlwpduy
