The World Food Programme is seeking a Treasury Intern in Rome for a 5‑month assignment with possible extension to 8 months. Under supervision, you will perform data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and reporting tasks to support audits and treasury processes.

Relevant studies, strong Excel/Office skills, and a willingness to work in a multicultural, in‑person environment are essential. A monthly stipend up to US$1,000 is provided, with opportunities for learning through the weLearn

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programme
• Completed at least two years of the programme
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsabilités

• Support audit, reconciliation, and data analysis activities.
• Assist treasury operations and bank account management tasks.
• Coordinate with field offices and internal stakeholders to collect and verify treasury records.
• Assist in documentation, reporting, and continuous process improvement.
