Steer, a global employee-owned consultancy, is seeking motivated interns to join our Modelling Team in Bologna, Italy. The role combines analytical modelling with transportation planning across Italy and abroad for public and private clients.

Ideal candidates hold a master's in planning or engineering with a transportation focus, strong quantitative skills, and fluency in Italian and English. Part-time or flexible arrangements are considered.

Competenze

Master's degree in planning, engineering or related field with a transportation focus.
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with Excel.
Knowledge of macrosimulation and/or microsimulation (VISUM/VISSIM).
Understanding and application of logit models.
Strong written and spoken communication; ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work in different teams and independently.
Legally authorized to work in the European Union without sponsorship.

Mansioni

Work on traffic due diligence and transportation planning projects.
Develop complex transportation models using VISUM, VISSIM, Emme and CUBE.
Collaborate with colleagues across the business to deliver high-quality consulting services.
