Systematica, a Milan-based transport planning and mobility engineering consultancy, is seeking a passionate Mobility Engineer to join our expanding team in Milan. You will work on local and international projects, developing integrated mobility solutions, modelling transport networks, and supporting clients throughout project lifecycles.

Competenze

• 1-2 years of professional experience in Transport Modelling and Transport Planning.
• Proven ability to support the development, calibration and validation of transport models.
• Excellent communication skills and interface with clients.

Mansioni

• Undertake transport model development and application using various software packages to simulate urban/inter-urban networks.
• Implement territorial multimodal macrosimulation models and microsimulations; assess static roads.
• Develop transport planning research projects focusing on modelling, traffic assessment, ITS, freight and sustainability.
• Extract data from transport models, analyse and produce technical reports.
• Support liaison with Clients and coordinate technical details with other project consultants.

Main Duties

• Undertake transport model development and application using various software packages which enables the simulation and analysis of the urban and inter-urban transport network / system and its interactions with economic, social, environmental, and land-use factors;
• Implement territorial multimodal macrosimulation models, as well as both vehicular and pedestrian microsimulations and static road network assessment tools;
• Develop transport planning research projects with specific focus on transport modelling, traffic assessment, ITS, freight and sustainability issues;
• Extract data from transport models, analyse and produce technical reports;
• Support the liaison with Clients and coordinate technical details with other project consultants.

Job position education

University Degree in Transport Engineering or equivalent.

Job position experience

1-2 years of professional experience in Transport Modelling and Transport Planning.

Essential qualifications and experience:

• Proven ability to support the development, calibration and validation of transport models;
• Experience in technical report production.
• Excellent communication skills and interface with clients.

Desirable qualifications and experience:

• Experience in using CUBE/VISUM, PTV VISSIM, AIMSUN;
