DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a hands-on Road Operations planner to support our team in planning and coordinating transport activities, ensuring efficiency and reliable service. You will plan and monitor part- and full-load transports, optimize load consolidations, routing and capacity, and address issues promptly to maintain quality.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement and cost optimization in daily operations.

Competenze

• At least two years of experience in road logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong operational mindset focused on execution and quality.
• Customer-oriented, solution-driven, and capable under pressure.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Very good command of English; knowledge of French and/or German is an advantage.

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive team member to support our Road Operations team in planning and coordinating transport activities, ensuring efficiency and strong operational performance

Your role will be to ensure efficient planning and coordination of part-and full load activities, contributing to the smooth execution of daily transport operations. You will monitor transport processes closely and proactively address operational issues to maintain high service quality and reliability.

You'll be expected to plan and customer transports, making effective use of load consolidations, routing and capacity calculations. In addition, you will monitor shipments, ensuring transparency and quick resolution of any issues.

At the same time, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of operations by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, optimize costs, and improve overall service quality.

We expect you to:

• Have at least two years of experience in road logistics or freight forwarding
• Have a strong operational mindset with a focus on execution and quality
• Be customer-oriented, solution-driven, and able to perform well under pressure
• Be a team player with strong communication skills
• Have a very good command of English; knowledge of French and/or German is an advantage
