DSV Solutions in Settala (Milan) is seeking a Sustainability Specialist to analyze carbon emissions, energy use, and environmental KPIs. You will build interactive dashboards in Excel and Power BI and translate data insights into actionable recommendations to support sustainability initiatives.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or related fields, plus fluent English.

For our local branch in Settala (Milan), we are currently looking for a Sustainability Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data related to carbon emissions, energy consumption, and environmental KPIs.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and recurring patterns.
• Develop predictive and analytical models.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI.
• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations to support sustainability initiatives.
• Build and maintain a historical database for continuous monitoring and reporting.
• Collaborate in the preparation of presentations and materials for various stakeholders and, more generally, support the day-to-day activities of the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (completed or currently pursuing) in Engineering (Management Engineering, Environmental Engineering), Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with key environmental KPIs (considered a plus).

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of data management, processing, and analysis.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge of Power BI.
• Good understanding of Business Intelligence and Business Analytics tools.
• Advanced data analysis techniques (e.g., regression analysis, scenario analysis, statistical functions).
• Effective data visualization skills.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (considered a plus).
• Experience using Python for data analysis (considered a plus).
