Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Functional Analyst - POM / MAKE to support deployment of Manufacturing Execution capabilities within the Transcend SAP S/4HANA program. You will perform solution confirmation, testing, and deployment to ensure alignment with the global template and regulatory requirements.

The role demands hands-on functional experience in ERP/digital transformations (SAP S/4HANA), exposure to MES systems, and a strong QA mindset.

Competenze

• University degree in a relevant field; regulated (GxP) environment experience.
• Experience supporting ERP or digital transformation projects, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industries; fluent in English.

The program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from seven systems to one, standardizing processes to create a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that enables agility and scalability across the business. Additionally, Transcend will remediate end-of-life system exposure expected toward the end of this decade, reducing risk while enabling long-term sustainability.

Role Purpose

The Functional Analyst - POM / MAKE supports the deployment of Manufacturing Execution-related capabilities within the Transcend SAP S/4HANA program. The role provides hands-on functional support across solution confirmation, testing, and deployment activities, ensuring Manufacturing solutions align with the global template, regulatory requirements, and SAP Clean Core principles.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Functional Delivery & Execution

• Support SAP-MES (PAS-X) integration activities, PLM-driven engineering change processes, master data validity checks, and Manufacture at Risk capabilities.
• Assist with functional validation of Manufacturing master data, process orders, BOMs, master recipes, and production versions.
• Support solution confirmation activities by documenting requirements, reviewing designs, and validating alignment with the global template.
• Execute detailed functional tasks including configuration support, data validation, and integration readiness activities.

Testing, Deployment & Hypercare Support

• Prepare and execute Business Simulation Testing and User Acceptance Testing activities under the guidance of the Functional Deployment Lead.
• Support defect triage, resolution, and retesting activities.
• Provide functional support during deployment and hypercare periods.

Qualifications

Required

• University degree or equivalent experience in a relevant business, technical, or scientific discipline.
• Hands-on functional experience within a regulated (GxP) environment.
• Experience supporting ERP or digital transformation initiatives, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Preferred

• Prior involvement in global ERP deployments.
• Experience with MES systems and SAP integration
