WH Partners in Rome is inviting applications for a Trainee to join a professional training programme within our international and multidisciplinary law firm. The role focuses on both transactional and litigation matters, working with national and international clients and across multiple industries.

You will be mentored by experienced professionals, gaining exposure to contract drafting, due diligence, client meetings, and management of case files.

Competenze

• A Law degree obtained within the standard timeframe with a final grade higher than 105, or be in the process of completing the degree.
• A strong interest in commercial and corporate law.
• Italian native speaker, fluent in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of an additional foreign language will be considered an asset.
• Excellent analytical skills, precision, and a strong team-oriented attitude.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Proficiency with IT tools, including the Microsoft Office Suite, online research tools and legal databases, and familiarity with prompting AI systems.

• Conduct in-depth analysis and research on complex legal issues, and monitor regulatory and case law developments within the firm’s key practice areas.
• Support the drafting of legal documents, including commercial contracts, judicial acts, company resolutions, legal opinions, and memoranda, under the supervision of senior lawyers.
• Assist with the preparation and management of files and related requirements, including compliance activities, the development of contract templates, the preparation of client presentations, and the drafting of legal articles and publications.
• Participate, alongside the firm’s professionals, in client meetings, negotiation sessions, notarial signings, and transaction closings.
• Contributing to legal due diligence processes in M&A transactions, including document review and the preparation of due diligence reports.
• Supporting preparatory activities for hearings and litigation matters, including the collection and organisation of procedural documentation.
