Job summary

Indie Campers in Italy is seeking passionate students or recent graduates for a Tourism & Operations Internship at our Cagliari depot (Strada dei Canadesi 2, 09032 Assemini CA). You will greet guests, help set them up for road trips, and ensure a smooth start to their journeys.

You’ll handle front-office tasks like check-ins, payments, and upselling extras, and back-office tasks such as reserving campers, prepping kits, and fleet coordination.

Qualifications

• Studying Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration or related field.
• Fluent in English; work permit if applicable; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Front-office: check-ins/outs, guest registration, payments, explain campervan features.
• Back-office: align reservations with available vans, prep campers and road-trip kits.
• Fleet coordination and stock monitoring to support busy operations.
• Quality upkeep and basic repairs coordination.

THE ROLE

We’re on the lookout for passionate students or recent graduates who want to dive into the exciting world of RV and campervan rentals and gain hands‑on tourism experience at our Cagliari depot , located in Strada dei Canadesi 2, 09032 Assemini CA, Italy.

As our Tourism & Operations Intern, you’ll be the friendly face of our brand - welcoming guests, setting them up for road trips of a lifetime, and ensuring their journey ends just as wonderfully as it began. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Front-office activities:

• Customer service and sales: Take care of check‑ins and check-outs, register guests, process payments, explain campervan functionalities, terms and conditions, upsell road trip extras.

Back-office activities:

• Operations handling: Align the reservations with the available campervans, verify and prepare campers and road trip extras and kits.


• Quality control: Maintain the campervans in top condition, identify and act on possible maintenance or repair needs.


• Support activities: Support the team in monitoring the existing stock, coordinating the fleet of campervans, troubleshooting operational issues.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• You are a student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration or a related field looking for an internship;


• You are fluent in English, have a work permit (if applicable), and a valid driver’s licence (for both manual and automatic vehicles);


• You like international environments and meeting new cultures;


• You possess a natural talent for connecting with people and have a strong customer service orientation;


• You have a problem-solving mindset, thriving to create solutions and feeling comfortable with getting your hands dirty.
