Job summary

Pragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a major international organization for an Application Support Technician to join a global Digital Solutions Managed Services team. You’ll support a portfolio of business-critical applications and enterprise tools, working across maintenance, Tier-2 support, databases, Windows and Linux environments.

This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys troubleshooting, has strong English communication, and is willing to participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application maintenance, application support, or general IT support.
• Hands-on experience supporting client/server applications.
• Good knowledge of database management and administration.
• Experience working in Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day Tier-2 support and maintenance for business applications and enterprise tools.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and escalate where needed.
• Perform administration and troubleshooting across MSSQL and open-source databases.
• Support application releases, upgrades, configuration changes, and deployments.
• Assist with structural application changes during system upgrades.
• Support applications running on Windows and Linux environments.
• Respond to application-related queries from users across locations.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge-base content.
• Participate in operational meetings and collaborate with other teams.
• Rotate 24/7 on-call schedule (about one week per month).
