Baker Hughes in Massa, Italy, is seeking a Testing Control Engineer to execute mechanical running tests on gas turbine test benches, oversee test rigs preparation, commissioning and start‑up phases. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Maintenance teams to analyze test results, implement improvements and ensure safe, compliant operation.

The role requires a diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Automation, knowledge of gas turbine control architectures, and proficiency in Italian

Competenze

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Automation fields.
• Knowledge of gas turbine control architecture and systems.
• Experience with gas turbine operations, maintenance, or site installations.
• Strong collaboration with engineering and manufacturing departments.
• Italian language fluency; English preferred.

Mansioni

• Execute tests of Gas Turbine units and related flow department components.
• Coordinate with Engineering to conduct gas turbine testing.
• Interact daily with Manufacturing UTOF to analyze scope of work.
• Interact with Maintenance to analyze and investigate issues.
• Serve as customer entry point during testing phase.
• Collaborate with BH functions for continuous improvement activities.

As a Testing Control Engineer you will be responsible for executing mechanical running test on Gas Turbine test bench, super visioning test rigs preparation, commissioning, and start‑up phases.

• Executing Test of Flow department units, Gas Turbines
• Keeping interaction with Engineering department in order to conduct Gas Turbines testing
• Keeping daily interaction with Manufacturing UTOF in order to analyze scope of work
• Managing daily interaction with Manufacturing maintenance in order to analyze and investigating issues
• Being customer entry point during testing phase
• Collaborating with other BH functions in order to support any continuous improvement activities

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a high school diploma in Electric/Electronics/Automation field.
• Show technical experience in software management and control system architecture
• Display knowledge of Gas Turbine control system architecture
• Have experience in Gas Turbine operations, maintenance, or site installations
• Be fluent in Italian, English knowledge is preferred.

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 35,924.92 To 42,900

The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay
