Job summary

Alfa Laval in San Bonifacio (VR), Italy, is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to execute core testing, validation, and production support for our thermal exchange technologies. Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a technical diploma is required or preferred.

• Willingness to develop in Electronics/Systems or Plant Maintenance.

• Testing & Quality Control: Execute functional testing, system validation, and pressure/leak testing on brazed heat exchangers and related systems.
• Operational Validation: Perform internal brazing on test components, prototypes, and laboratory circuits.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to plant safety guidelines, hazardous fluids handling, and Industry 4.0 standards.

For our manufacturing and technological hub in San Bonifacio (VR), we are looking for a hands-on, high-potential Test Engineer to execute core testing, validation, and production support phases for our innovative thermal exchange technologies. This is a highly operational and adaptable role where you will have the unique opportunity to gradually specialize in the technical area you prefer based on your career goals, ranging from Electronics and Systems up to Plant Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing & Quality Control: Execute functional testing, system validation, and strict pressure/leak testing (collaudo) on brazed heat exchangers (BHE) and related systems.
• Operational Validation: Perform internal brazing (brasatura) on test components, prototypes, and laboratory circuits.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to plant safety guidelines, hazardous fluid handling protocols, and high automation/Industry 4.0 manufacturing standards.

Your Background:

• Education: Degree (Bachelor's/Master's) in Engineering (Mechanical, Energy, or Chemical) OR a Diploma from a Technical High School (Istituto Tecnico Meccanico).
• Experience: Open to fresh graduates or candidates with initial hands-on internship experience.
• Nice-to-Have Certifications:PES/PAV electrical safety qualification.F-Gas license (handling and movement of refrigerant fluids).Forklift operator license (patentino muletto).

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The starting base salary for this role is typically 35,000 €, CCNL METALWORKING.
