Deugro (Scandinavia) Oy seeks a Tender Specialist to lead the preparation of competitive project solutions for RFQs/RFPs in Segrate (Milan), Italy. The role focuses on cost analysis, bid documentation, and coordinating with clients and overseas offices to deliver high-quality proposals for air, ocean or road shipments.

Mansioni

• Prepare competitive and high-quality project proposals in response to RFQs/RFIs/RFPs within the region.
• Source and analyze costs to build competitive offers and quotations for air, ocean, or road shipments.
• Prepare high-quality bid documentation and support contract implementation and onboarding.
• Maintain records, rate databases and CRM data accuracy.
• Coordinate quotations with clients and overseas offices.
• Source rates from subcontractors and overseas offices and analyze inputs for comprehensive offers.
• Identify risks in scope and agree on terms to mitigate them.
• Report on business results and KPIs within scope.
• Engage in mutually agreed sales, operations, and business development activities to drive growth and profitability.

Tender Specialist
Location: Segrate (Milan), Italy

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of competitive and high-quality project solutions proposals in response to RFQs/RFIs/RFPs received from clients within the region including:


• Sourcing and cost analysis


• Preparation of high-quality bid documentation


• Supporting contract implementation and client onboarding


• Maintaining up-to-date records, rate database and CRM


• Preparation of quotations to clients and overseas offices for air, ocean or road according to the cargo requirements for both import, export and x-trade


• Sourcing rates from subcontractors, overseas offices, support functions and analyze inputs into comprehensive, competitive offers


• Understanding customers scope of work and requirements, identifying risks related on these and mitigating the risks by agreeing on terms and conditions


• Reporting and analyzing business results and targets/KPI’s within scope


• Any mutually agreed sales, operations and/or business development activities to achieve growth and profitability

Skills, knowledge, and expertise:

• Commercial and operational experience in General Cargo, Break Bulk, Oversized and Heavy Lift shipments (multi-modal)


• Ideally, experience in pricing and tender management


• Capability to understand large concepts yet have attention to detail


• Interest in global logistics landscape and market developments


• Desire to continuous learning from clients, peers, network to enable both personal and business growth on a long-term


• Motivation to work in an internationally operating company and already have experience in working with other countries and cultures


• Ability to prioritize, plan and control/monitor given tasks on a daily basis with a medium-term focus


• Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment, while remaining focused under pressure


• You are a team player and have a strong hands-on mentality


• Your very good command of English, enabling you to quickly find your way around the international arena


• Good IT skills, to be able to fully utilize CRM, MS Office and other IT-tools ensuring high data quality and integrity
