World Food Programme is seeking a Telecoms Preparedness & Capacity Development Consultant to design, deliver and oversee preparedness and capacity-building initiatives for LTC Telecoms across priority regions. The role emphasizes field-focused delivery, cross-team collaboration, and knowledge product development.

The consultant will support design and rollout of training, tools, and early-warning concepts, working remotely with frequent international travel to fragile or protracted contexts.

Competenze

• Advanced university degree in disaster management, development studies, international relations, business, humanitarian affairs, telecommunications, or a related field.

Mansioni

• Plan, deliver and monitor LTC preparedness and capacity development activities.
• Coordinate with country offices, regional teams and partners to align actions.
• Prepare agendas, notes, presentations and follow-up documentation.
• Develop and roll out training packages and knowledge products.
