The Information and Telecommunication Emergency Preparedness and Response Branch (TECF) leads WFP’s I&T emergency management in humanitarian crises, coordinating surge capacity, operational information management and I&T emergency preparedness and response analysis. The WAE recruit will be responsible for the following duties:
Education: Advanced university degree in disaster management, development studies, international relations, business, humanitarian affairs, telecommunications, or another relevant field. Previous work experience with the ETC is highly desirable.
