TECNIMONT seeks a Telecom System Engineer in Catania to join a dynamic team driving integrated telecom infrastructures for large international plants. You will design, manage, and document telecom systems, coordinate with project teams, and support site activities during construction and commissioning.

Ideal candidates bring a degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related fields, with interest in 5G and Industrial IoT, plus English proficiency.

Competenze

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics or related fields.
• Even short experience in the Telecom field or in industrial contexts.
• Good knowledge of technical English, both spoken and written.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies such as 5G, Industrial IoT, mesh networks, cybersecurity.

Mansioni

• Collaborate in the design and technical management of Telecom infrastructures and systems (CCTV, access control, LAN/WAN networks, radio systems, telephony, anti-intrusion, WIFI, 5G).
• Collaborating with other members of the Project Team, you will be responsible for preparing material requests and technical documentation.
• Follow the materials supply cycle, follow-up on supplies including detailed documentation prepared by the supplier, and testing activities at the suppliers' premises.
• Contribute to the continuous exchange of information with colleagues, managing all data related to telecom systems throughout the project's lifecycle, which will be inputs for colleagues involved in Plant Design, electrical part, civil part, automation and control, etc..
• Provide technical support to the site during construction and commissioning phases.
• Work on new internal methodologies and processes to improve the efficiency of procedures and the result.
• Contribute to the updating of operational standards and working methodologies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams, sharing know-how and promoting the technical growth of the group.
