Tecnimont cerca un Telecom System Engineer per Catania. Il ruolo copre progettazione e gestione di infrastrutture telecom, supporto sito e collaborazione con team internazionali per progetti EPC nel settore industriale e energetico.

Si richiede laurea in telecomunicazioni o affini, conoscenze di reti e sicurezza, inglese buono e spinta all'innovazione. Contratto a tempo indeterminato, sede a Catania, formazione continua prevista.

Competenze

• Laurea in Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni/discipline affini.
• Conoscenze di protocolli di rete, sicurezza e automazione.
• Interesse per tecnologie emergenti (5G, IIoT, cybersecurity).

Mansioni

• Progettare e gestire infrastrutture telecom e sistemi (CCTV, controllo accessi, LAN/WAN, radio, telefonia, wifi 5G).
• Preparare richieste materiali e documentazione tecnica per il progetto.
• Supportare sito durante costruzione e collaudo; fornire know-how alle squadre internazionali.

Position

Tecnimont is seeking Telecom System Engineer to join our team in Catania. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing integrated solutions for complex plants designed to provide access to the latest technologies in our large-scale projects worldwide. Responsibilities

• You will collaborate in the design and technical management of Telecom infrastructures and systems (CCTV, access control, LAN/WAN networks, radio systems, telephony, anti-intrusion, WIFI, 5G)
• Collaborating with other members of the Project Team, you will be responsible for preparing material requests and technical documentation.
• You will follow the materials supply cycle, follow-up on supplies including detailed documentation prepared by the supplier, and testing activities at the suppliers' premises.
• You will contribute to the continuous exchange of information with colleagues, managing all data related to telecom systems throughout the project's lifecycle, which will be inputs for colleagues involved in Plant Design, electrical part, civil part, automation and control, etc.
• You will provide technical support to the site during construction and commissioning phases.
• You will work on new internal methodologies and processes to improve the efficiency of procedures and the result.
• You will contribute to the updating of operational standards and working methodologies.
• You will collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams, sharing know-how and promoting the technical growth of the group.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics or related fields.
• Even short experience in the Telecom field or in industrial contexts.
• Basic knowledge of network protocols, security systems, and automation.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies such as 5G, Industrial IoT, mesh networks, cybersecurity.
• Good knowledge of technical English, both spoken and written.
• Passion for managing the technical and managerial aspects of TELECOM systems comprehensively.
• Teamwork skills, flexibility, and result orientation.
• Innovative spirit.

Compensation

The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be 39,078.62€. The compensation package will include the applicable elements of the Collective Agreement as well as benefits provided under company agreements, including flexible benefits and a participation bonus. Any additional variable components and/or benefits, regulated by Standards, Policies and/or company agreements, will be illustrated during the selection process.
