A leading renewable energy company based in Italy is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to deliver expert support and conduct training for customers and partners. This role requires an engineering degree and at least 3 years of experience in technical support, ideally in the solar or electrical sectors. Strong communication skills in Italian and English are essential. The position involves both pre- and after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with local regulations.

Work Responsibility
  • After-Sales Support: Deliver expert, solution-driven technical support to our professional customers and partners.
  • Conduct engaging training sessions to empower installers and internal teams.
  • Manage RMA requests with speed and precision to keep customer satisfaction high.
  • Drive service optimization, improving response times, parts usage, and cost-efficiency.
  • Track and report service KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during customer meetings and project planning.
  • Prepare compelling technical proposals, system designs, and product presentations.
  • Ensure all technical solutions meet local regulatory and grid requirements.
  • Monitor local market trends and share insights with R&D, product, and marketing teams.
  • Support our presence at trade shows, technical workshops, and partner events.
  • Provide hands-on support during on-site installations and commissioning when needed.
Requirements
  • Based in Italy
  • Ability to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.
  • Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (renewable energy specialization is a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support, engineering, or field services, preferably in the solar, energy, or electrical sectors.
  • Technically skilled, solution-oriented, and a natural communicator with a customer-first mindset.
  • Adaptable and proactive, comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
