Thermal Care EMEA | PiovanGroup is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the Technical Department and coordinate engineering activities for design, development and industrialization of products and systems.

You will collaborate with Production, Service, Sales and Purchasing to deliver high-quality technical solutions aligned with company objectives and industry standards.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in plant engineering/industrial systems; heat transfer/chiller experience preferred.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).

Mansioni

• Lead, motivate and manage the Technical Office team (engineers, designers, draftsmen).
• Coordinate and supervise design and development of products, systems, and customer projects.
• Ensure compliance with technical regulations, industry standards and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales to define technical specs and support proposals.
• Support Production during industrialization and solve technical problems.
• Manage technical documentation, drawings, manuals and records.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead and coordinate our Technical Department. The successful candidate will oversee all engineering and technical activities, ensuring the efficient design, development, and industrialization of products and systems.

Working closely with Production, Service, Sales and Purchasing teams, you will play a key role in delivering innovative, high-quality technical solutions aligned with company objectives and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and manage the Technical Office team, including engineers, designers and technical draftsmen.
• Coordinate and supervise the design and development of products, systems, and customer projects.
• Ensure compliance with technical regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with the Sales Department in defining technical specifications and supporting proposal preparation.
• Support Production during industrialization activities and technical problem-solving processes.
• Manage technical documentation, ensuring drawings, manuals, and related records remain accurate and updated.
• Monitor project timelines, costs, and quality performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote technological innovation across the organization.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar leadership role.
• Previous experience within the plant engineering/industrial systems sector. Candidates with experience in the heat transfer or chiller industry will be given preferential consideration.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of SAP is considered a strong advantage.
