Biopharma Careers seeks a Technical Application Consultant with DSP bioprocessing expertise to drive sales and growth in Italy and MEA. You will lead projects from pre-sales to implementation, collaborating across Commercial, MSAT and Customer Applications teams.

You will travel up to 70% and bring strong technical knowledge of bioproduction workflows for modalities such as mAbs, ADCs, vaccines, mRNA, and cell/gene therapies. Excellent communication and a customer-centric mindset are essential.

Competenze

• Italian work permit / living in Italy
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related field; Master’s or PhD preferred
• Strong DSP bioprocessing technical experience; travel up to 70%
• Solid understanding of bioproduction workflows across modalities (mAbs, ADCs, vaccines, mRNA, cell/gene therapy)
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Strong customer-centric mindset with proactive, action-driven approach
• Previous customer-facing experience
• Previous project management experience, able to lead complex multi-stakeholder projects

Your Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate with expertise in Downstream Bioprocessing to join our team as a Technical Application Consultant. As part of the Downstream Processing (DSP) Customer Application team within the Process solution commercial organisation, you will leverage your technical expertise in DSP technologies to drive sales and business growth. You will collaborate closely with the Commercial, MSAT and Customer Applications teams to develop and implement solutions for customers located in Italy and MEA. Your role will include managing complex projects from pre-sales through implementation, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience. Your analysis and understanding of market dynamics and customer needs will enable you to identify strategic opportunities for growth. You will engage with customers both in person and virtually, presenting our expertise while addressing their specific needs.

Your contributions will extend to assisting Field Marketing and Commercial teams in planning and executing regional action plans. Additionally, you will act as a liaison, sharing customer feedback with the business to shape our strategies and product offerings.

Who you are:

• You have an Italian Work Permit/ live in Italy
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s or PhD is preferred.
• Strong relevant technical experience in the DSP Bioprocessing industry. Ability to travel up to 70% of your time.
• Solid technical understanding of bioproduction workflows across multiple modalities, including but not limited to mAbs, ADCs, vaccines, mRNA, and Cell and/or Gene Therapy.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to build strategic relationships effectively.
• Strong customer‑centric mindset, and a proactive, action‑driven approach and ability to analyze customer manufacturing processes and align them with our product offering.
• Previous customer facing experience.
• Previous project management experience, with the ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders

Salary Package

• Annual Base Salary (RAL): €50.000 - €75.000
• Variable Compensation (SIP)
