Pillar is building an AI-native operating system for the financial sector and is expanding across Europe from Milan and Barcelona. We are hiring a Tech Talent Specialist who loves engineers and can own tech hiring end to end, from sourcing to signed offers, creating a standout candidate experience.

You will run searches for Product, Engineering and AI roles with Hiring Managers and the CTO, proactively sourcing and building long-term pools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in tech recruiting, in-house or agency
• Ability to speak engineer language and understand tech stacks
• Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills
• Experience building long-term talent pools and employer brand in tech

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end tech searches with hiring managers and CTO
• Source proactively on LinkedIn, GitHub, communities and events
• Conduct 30-min People calls to assess motivation and fit
• Coordinate technical interviews and feedback at every step
• Maintain clean data in Ashby and report on pipeline weekly
• Shape employer brand in tech through posts, meetups and referrals
• Provide timely, constructive feedback even when the answer is no

Pillar was founded in 2025. Today, we are 90+ people, serve 1000+ customers, raised €15.2M (pre-seed and seed round) and are expanding internationally.

We are building the financial operating system for construction: bringing AI, automation and modern software to an enormous industry still full of slow, fragmented processes.

We are looking for a Tech Talent Specialist who loves engineers, speaks their language and wants to help us build one of the best AI-native product teams in Europe.

We are hiring Full Stack Engineers, AI Engineers, Product Designers and data profiles across Milan and Barcelona. Every person who joins now shapes how Pillar builds for years. We need someone who finds them, wins them over and gives them a candidate experience they will talk about, even when the answer is no.

The mission

Own tech hiring end to end, from sourcing to signed offer, and make Pillar a place great engineers want to join.

What you will do

• Run Product, Engineering and AI searches end to end, together with the Hiring Managers and the CTO.
• Source proactively on LinkedIn, GitHub, communities and events, and build long-term talent pools.
• Run the 30-min People call: motivation, mindset, startup fit and languages.
• Coordinate technical interviews, challenges and final rounds, keeping every candidate informed at every step.
• Give every candidate kind, clear and timely feedback, including when the answer is no.
• Keep Ashby clean and up to date: if it is not in Ashby, it did not happen.
• Help shape our employer brand in tech: job posts, LinkedIn content, meetups and referrals.
• Share data on the pipeline every week and suggest how to improve it.

Who we are looking for

Recruiters who love tech and care about people

• You have 3+ years in tech recruiting, in-house or in an agency, ideally hiring for startups or scaleups.
• You understand tech roles well enough to have credible conversations with engineers (stacks, seniority, what a good profile looks like).
• You are a natural sourcer: you enjoy finding people others miss.
• You care deeply about candidate experience and communicate in a warm, direct and human way.
• You are organised and data-driven: you track your funnel and act on it.
• You are AI-native: you use AI to source, write and work faster.
• Nice to have: experience hiring AI or ML profiles, or hiring across Italy and Spain.
