Confidential is seeking a Senior Engineering Leader to define scalable platform architecture and guide a distributed team of engineers. You will drive best practices, mentor staff, and collaborate with Product and DevOps to deliver robust features.

You will act as the technical reference, shaping long-term architectural capability, reducing debt, and evolving the engineering organization in a fast-growing environment.

Competenze

• 7+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Strong command of SOLID, design patterns, DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, and CQRS.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, microservices, and distributed systems at scale.
• Proven track record mentoring engineers, leading code reviews, and defining standards.
• Experience with infrastructure and scalability tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch.
• Professional level of English (C1).

Mansioni

• Define and evolve platform technical architecture for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Lead and mentor a team of 6-10 engineers across multiple squads.
• Establish and uphold code quality standards, review processes, and best practices.
• Prioritize and manage technical debt with measurable impact.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to assess feasibility and plan features.
• Coordinate with DevOps on infrastructure strategies and cloud architecture.
• Work with QA to define testing strategies and quality processes.
• Evaluate and adopt tools and technologies adding value to the product.
• Represent the company in the technical community and open source.
• Define career development plans for engineers and participate in talent assessment.
