Zusammenfassung

Aptiv HVT in Italy is seeking a results-driven leader to head the Work Preparation and Toolmaking team. You will plan and manage in-house tool shop projects, from new injection mold development to repair and maintenance for serial production.

You will drive project planning, cost, and delivery targets while fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous process improvements. Strong leadership, German and English language skills, and hands-on toolmaking experience are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of project management experience in a technical environment.
• Experience in mechanical engineering or toolmaking is preferred.
• Fluent (or strong) German and English language skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities with a structured, solution-oriented style.

You lead a team responsible for Work Preparation and Toolmaking. Together, you plan and manage projects within the in-house tool shop, ranging from the development of new injection molds to the repair and maintenance of tools used in serial production.

• Lead, motivate, and develop the team
• Take responsibility for the planning, coordination, and successful execution of projects and orders while meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Drive process improvements, organizational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration
• Manage internal toolmaking projects from quotation preparation and work planning through to successful completion
• Coordinate closely with the Machining Production Team Leader to ensure the smooth execution of projects and orders

Qualifications

• Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in project management and a technical environment, ideally in mechanical engineering and/or toolmaking
• Design experience with Cimatron is an advantage
• Experience in the manufacturing of injection-molded and stamped components
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as milling, grinding, EDM (electrical discharge machining), and drilling
• Very good German and English language skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills, combined with a structured and solution-oriented working style
• Team player with excellent organizational skills and a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
